harga barang kat UAE ni..
bulan demi bulan, tahun demi tahun
semakin naik..

jangan sebut la pasal harga sewa rumah
sewa untuk sebuah decent studio apartment
average AED 3,500 sebulan
kalau flat 2 bilik.. AED 3,000 sebulan

jangan sebut pasal bilik hotel..
untuk hotel 4 bintang
standard room.. AED 800..

jangan sebut la harga minyak..
petrol.. segelen.. AED 6.25 (since Sept 2005)
diesel.. segelen.. AED 9.00 (since April 2006)

(AED 1 = RM 1)

(diesel ni.. dalam masa 6 bulan.. since Sept 2005)
dah naik 4 kali.. and 3 times in the month of April alone)

was in 2005.. for 25%... )

now.. the heat is on.. and hotter..
from the increasing prices for daily products

so.. baru-baru ni..
government buat satu policy..
to publish daily price indexes.. in newspapers
for various consumer products..
so that people could check for themselves
which stores / shops offer the best values..

yang 'lucu' nya.. to read that..
even shaving cream is one of the top 20 items
in the price list....

well... 3/4 of the population
memang jenis yang berbulu ni..
