good old times

dah lama
tak tengok filem hindustan

last weekend..
out of boredom
layan vcd Kabhi Kushi and Kuch Hota Hai

well.. was never a true fan though
at least not with the new and current
trend and plot of hindi films

preferred those old hindi films
yang berkisah tentang
life's struggle, good versus evil;
yang berkisar pasal
konflik keluarga, antara dua darjat,
anak / adik-beradik terpisah then jumpa semula
after so many years, but sorang polis sorang crook;
yang tak dapat tidak, mesti ada keretapi, gunung,
lori, kayu hoki, hujan, taman bunga,
and of course unsur kerohanian dan ketuhanan

dah lebih kepada;
life is easy, all about love conflicts
semua orang kaya, rumah macam mahligai
travel and holidays oversea, etc..

even..
pelakon yang dulunya karektor jahat
now.. only playing clowny characters..

hmm...

plus minus points;
now, no more fights, guns and suicide scenes
now, life is all above lovy-dovy
dulu, you must work hard
dulu, love is above everything else i.e. money

during the 80s and early 90s..
Hindi film.. kalau kat Malaysia
would only be aired on RTM TV2
around 2 pm, on Friday..

but.. after the burst of
Shah Rukh Khan and the rest of the Khan's clan
on Saturday / Sunday.. there were 4 hindi films
broadcasted by almost all channels

hmm.. not sure how it is at present

nevertheless..
i prefer those old years films better
they would remind me;
to work hard,
to love our parents and siblings,
to honour friendship..

to take the train and to play hockey..
hehe.. (bad joke)...

apapun.. among other things..
ada satu scene filem hindi lama ni
yang aku tak leh lupa sampai sekarang..

dalam filem tu.. (ada subtitles)
mamat baik ni dapat tangkap orang jahat tu
then dia ikat mamat jahat tu and berkata;
"kau ni.. punya la jahat..
bukan sahaja syurga kau tak masuk..
tapi, neraka pun kau tak kan masuk.."

perghhhhhh.. bayangkan..
