honestly clumsy

A traffic patrol found a bag
containing nearly Dh1 million in a car park
and guarded it until police arrived.

The traffic police investigator with Abu Dhabi Police,
was on his way to Abu Dhabi Municipality when he noticed
currency notes sticking out from a bag lying in the car park.

He notified the police and guarded the bag until they arrived.
He did not touch it as he suspected that the money was stolen
and would need to be finger printed.

The bag had fallen from the car of a businessman.
The company’s representative had withdrawn the cash
to pay employees’ wages. It took him half an hour
to realise the money was not in his car
and he notified the company’s owner and accountant.
He then returned to where he had parked his car
to find the bag being guarded by the traffic.
