selalunya aku akan tau or sedar
if PM will announce the Belanjawan

(i hate the word Bajet - originated from Budget
which i am still arguing why we need to use Bajet
while we already have the word Belanjawan)

anyway... for this year
I MISSED IT and TOTALLY DIDN'T REALISE
that Hari Belanjawan 2007
was on 1 September..
a day right after the Hari Kebangsaan..

(gee.. what are we rushing for?)

other than the positive moves
for our education and health systems..
hurray for agriculture and construction sectors..
reduced corporate taxes, increased sin taxes..
yadi yadi yada.. bla.. bla.. and et cetera...
it was rather ironic nevertheless
to notice that the government SERVANTS
will be (once again) denied an increment
but instead, had been granted an additional 20%
for their housing loans..

meaning..
NO NEW INCOME, but, PLEASE BORROW MORE

sad but true..
same old.. same old..


err... why is it that Hari Belanjawan
will always be on Friday / the last working day
and the reading will always be after office hours?

hmm.. agaknya..
even kalau ada tak puas hati pun
it would die out during the weekend..
betul tak?
