safe seat
this June, the Malaysian Government
will enforce the rear seat belt ruling
bravo! finally!
better late than never..
pemakaian Tali Pinggang Keledar..
the impact in the time of collision
between cars.. could/would be worse
if the drivers/passengers did not wear seatbelts..
proven, and no question about it, right?
tetapi,
interesting enough, is that..
dalam Seksyen 7(a) Peraturan Kenderaan Bermotor
(Keselamatan Tali Pinggang Keledar) 1978
[P.U. (a) 378/1978]
memberikan pengecualian kepada sesiapa
yang berada dalam kenderaan polis, tentera,
bomba dan ambulans
daripada memakai tali pinggang keledar ....
apa ni?????
bukankah memakai tali pinggang keledar ini
perlu kerana keselamatan?
adakah ini memaklumkan bahawa
anggota polis KEBAL?
(undang-undang mahupun tubuh-badan)
Lead by Example...
jika anggota polis di negara-negara lain,
perlu dan memang memakai tali pinggang keledar,
rasanya, Malaysia juga Boleh!!!
the culture ..
well.. as i said.. lead by example..
the authorities.. the police / enforcer
are not doing so..
how could the others follow?
someone did mention to me that;
the police need not to wear seatbelt
reason being; for the 'effectiveness' of the job?
i.e. sebab senang nak keluar kereta
bila nak kejar penjahat...
huh???
hmmm... one may even wonder..
if other policemen in other countries
who are wearing their seatbelts
are they not effective then?
the point that i wanted to stress out here..
is the issue of SAFETY
MALANG tidak berbau
dan tidak mengenal siapa
