on the road again
it has been a while since the last posting..
thought of scrapping the blog altogether..
but, i guess God still want me to contribute..
in the least way possible
anyway, stuffed with tonnes of workload..
i just wondering..
why is that the government
never want to apply
the one-standard-vehicles-registration-type-for-all system?
as we could observe,
most of the developed countries
or even developing countries
are using the aforesaid system..
which had proven to be more systematic and hassle-less
(if not free)..
what we have, at present,
is a very vague display of vehicles’ number plates..
vis-à-vis in sizes, colours, styles and preferences.
of course,
the authority has an act or there is a law saying..
that number plates should be like this and that..
and we need to follow accordingly
to the specification and such..
but, how could one controls the enforcement
or how would the reality be met or materialized..?
as the concept was not monitored right from the source,
which is, how the number plates itself is produced.
what i meant,
after getting all the papers done for the registration,
one then could go to ANY shops that offer the production
of the vehicle’s number plate.
the key word here is ANY shops/outlets.
in those countries that actually enforced
and getting it right
on how it is supposed to be, which is..
only a few centres are allowed to produce the number plates..
so that only the AUTHORISED OUTLETS
are actually have the permit to manufacture the number plates..
legally of course.
this system, if applied and as had been proven,
will eradicate any misconduct, illegal reproduction,
false registration numbers and the top of it all,
the vague display and the ‘colourfulness’..
i am not sure, whether the idea,
is actually in the pipeline already,
or was thrown in to the decision-maker previously
and got shot down..
in my opinion,
it is no shame to change it, even if it is NOW....
which probably seems too late…
but, what is ‘too late’ compares to ‘never at all’…
c’ est la vie
